Genesis 12.1 - 17.21 - Call of Abraham
So here we go - Gen, starting with the 2nd Torah Portion aka Parsha, the weekly reading for the Jews. I was listening to FINE LINE by Eminem, while reflecting over the recent local success of King James. Well, is it still local on Tubi/Roku? Like Eminem our film is nestled in between BET styled productions and Biblical films.
I recently encountered a women from the River. I like these RiverDucks. I encounter them a lot at my job because the River attracts hard living people and these folks occasionally try and use the 24 hours facility as an overnight study.
I get it. I tend to be the lone staff member and know there is a camera and occasionally at the end of my shift I see the main boss and not just a smiling Mexican gal or a former nail tech that seems like she's out of central casting. It reminds me of The Man and The Machine. The High Priest in the Temple. I engage the flocks of crows at night, they have grown to be around 300 corvids.
The RiverDuck like the Jehovah Witnesses I correspond with, which took my time like a Facebook argument. I told them, read your Bible, what church or synagogue had John attended? Not all of us are going to be found in the church...building. We are sending the bricks and out with our hands in the mud.
If you are content with the waiting room and hanging out speaking Christianese in the church that is a lifestyle, but that is not like some who saw The Doctor and head out into the world. You don't make things hard for the Gentiles.
People mock William Lane Craig for "strawmanning" setting the bar so low just to get people in the door. This is religious and secular. This is not what God demonstrates. Snake on the pole. Call n The Name.
The Bar seems low because you are carrying a backpack off grief and trying to squeeze under the fence. Jesus says to come to IT like a kid, not a JEW or GREEK.
